나의 Hole in One시 동반자이신 Terry Carlson와 Mark Kik의 이야기

내게 보내온 메일내용인데 퇴직한 두분의 멋있는 삶이 아름답게 보여서 여기에 소개한다.

Dear Insung,

I hope the picture file came through OK. I keep a camera in my golf bag just in case someone gets a hole in one. This is the first time.

My friend's name is Mark Kik. He rents a room in my house. We both worked at IBM for many years, I have retired from there. My house is in the redwoods down Branciforte road (past DeLaveaga park) from the golf course, or down Vine Hill Road from highway 17. I have an old driving range mat from DeLaveaga golf course and we hit golf balls on my property to practice.

I played golf when I was a teenager but not so much when I was working. Three years ago I decided to begin playing again so I'm still trying to improve. I play1 or 2 times a week and Mark plays 2 or 3 times a week.
